DI Yogyakarta has plenty of exciting things to do other than the beach. Try going to the western city of Yogyakarta, there Sermo Reservoir, located in Kulon Progo. This dam was built on a hill and surrounded by forest. The scenery is cool!
Reservoir Sermo Sermo is located in the hamlet, village Hargowilis, Kokap, Kulon Progo Regency. Located approximately 35 km towards west from the city of Yogyakarta. Built on top of a hill and surrounded by woods, very interesting. The reservoir is very original and unique, because this dam is built on a hill and is a forests on the slopes of the surrounding hills Menoreh.
With pristine natural, artificial reservoirs stem several rivers flowing from the mountains and met in this reservoir. Sermo forests which is a protected forest is like to be an umbrella for the reservoir underneath. Interesting to visit.
